Alyy has been working as a professional actor for over fifteen years in Bollywood. He regularly features in popular television software, quality theatre productions and also anchors live shows. He has now relocated to Britain where he has sucessfully finished his fist project "Sharpe's Challenge" for ITV.

His film career includes a wide range of genres that well showcase his talent; from the futuristic sci-fi The Body (Deham) to the true story thriller Escape from Taliban and the commercial Stumped.

His television work has been most prolific, again covering a wide range of programming. He has hosted India's first travel show (Namaste India) and a cookery show (IFB Star Sunday Lunch), played pivotal characters in over a dozen award-winning soap operas (Banegi Apni Baat, Lipstick, Dhund, Dushman) and is well known for the verve and panache with which he enthralls his audiences. He has to his theatrical credit Hamlet, Legend of Ram, Begum Sumroo and The Lover, to name a few.

When asked what his favorite character has been to date he replied “Alyy Khan.” And that is truly where his forte lies.

Alyy has hosted the Mumbai Marathon on Zee TV for the second year running and co-hosted India's first telethon for CRY, called The CRYathon. The list of live performances is endless spanning fashion, sport, corporate, awards, music, star shows, product launches, pageants, balls, expos, charity galas and auctions. Alyy's USP is his most proficient command and the ease with which he conducts an event in both English and Hindustani.
